Music Groups

Mass Vocal Group

Comprised of all singers that attend TBC, this is a non-auditioned group.  Both music readers and "by ear" musicians are involved.  Rehearse once a month and lead worship once a month during an academic year.  This group sings in a modern-gospel choir style.

All-Church Orchestra

Comprised of all orchestral instrumentalists that attend TBC, this is a non-auditioned group.  Musicians must be able to read music and play at a middle school level.  Rehearse once every 2-3 months and lead worship once every 2-3 months during an academic year.

Studio Orchestra

Comprised of musicians who are in the All-Church Orchestra, this is an auditioned group.  Musicians must be able to read music and play at a high skill level.  Rehearse once a month and lead worship once a month during an academic year.

Band

Comprised of drums, bass, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, piano, keyboards, and vocals, this is an auditioned group.  Musicians must be able to read music and chord charts and posses a high skill level.  Rehearse weekly and lead worship weekly on a rotating basis year-round.  This group plays a wide variety of styles.

Kids Choir

Comprised of kids grade 1 - 6, this is a non-auditioned group.  They sing twice a year, once in December (worship) and once in April (musical).  Auditions are held for speaking and solos only.  Rehearse weekly to prepare for worship/musical.
