Doug Will

Personal History

Doug was raised on a Kansas farm where he spent his childhood caring for sheep. He attended Dallas Bible College and returned to Kansas to earn degrees in Piano Performance and Accounting from Washburn University. After working several years as a CPA in the corporate world, the Lord stirred Doug’s heart. Doug felt led to serve the Lord vocationally. As the Lord worked in Doug’s life, he provided a place to serve at TBC. Doug chose to obey and accepted a full-time pastoral staff position at TBC.

Ministry Responsibilities

Doug serves as the Administrative Pastor. His ministry responsibilities include: resourcing the staff, overseeing personnel and financial matters and providing administrative direction. He is intimately involved in the lives of many TBC’ers. In his role as pastor he continues what he learned as a child – caring for sheep. He gets his “people fix” by coordinating the welcome ministries.

Education

Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Piano Performance from Washburn University (1985); Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Washburn University (1987).

Family

Doug and Paula have four active boys – Drew, age 8; Matthew, age 5; Levi, age 3 and Evan, age 1.

Interesting Tidbits

In addition to spending time with his family, Doug likes to play the piano, spend time with friends, do yard work and go jogging. Doug regularly plays the piano during worship services, weddings and any other event requiring a piano virtuoso. If you need help remembering a name, ask Doug.
